The housing is depth rated to 100m, maintains a fairly small footprint making it great for traveling. All buttons are clearly labeled, it includes two fiber optic ports and a leak sensor. Lastly the rotating housing latch is secure yet easy to use.

Patented Port Locking System

The locking lever has become a signature of the Nauticam brand. Its unique design allows for easy and secure port mounting without the need for twisting or threading. Additionally, Nauticam provides locking port extensions, which ensure that even when using a long extension ring, a dome port remains firmly fixed in place.

FTZ Adapter Support

The NA-Z8 is also equipped with an FTZ adapter that allows you to use the same port configuration as you would with an F-mount DSLR system. Integrated Vacuum Check and Leak Detection System

By utilizing the vacuum valve accessory, users can receive constant updates through a simple LED lighting system that indicates a solid vacuum or loss of pressure. Furthermore, the leak detection feature, integrated into the same circuit, alerts divers both visually and audibly of any water intrusion inside the mirrorless underwater housing. Additionally, the Nauticam system is temperature compensated, which eliminates any false alarms resulting from fluctuations in outside temperature or a camera heating up during a  dive.

HDMI OUTPUT

The Nauticam NA-Z8 is equipped with an HDMI type A connector, this camera promises to provide a clean and smooth output.  The NA-Z8 also comes with an M24 bulkhead that can accommodate an HDMI 2.0 connection.
